Hello! My name is Miah, and I have an incredible opportunity to serve through Youth with a Mission (YWAM)! It is a five-month Discipleship Training School focused on reaching isolated islands and people groups. The heart of this DTS is praying for the nations, worshipping God, serving those who are in need, and learning to follow Jesus wholeheartedly to the ends of the earth. I will be spending three months in intense missions training and then spend two months traveling to different nations to disciple others and share the Gospel. Some of the places this DTS will go are Palau, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, and other small islands scattered across the Pacific. Some of these people groups are extremely isolated and don't have much access to the rest of the world. I am so excited to go and show these people that God has a huge heart for them and cares deeply for them. We will be serving communities in need through many ways including medical service, discipleship programs, serving at local churches, and proclaiming the Gospel! I have been praying about doing this for years and am so excited God has opened the doors for me to go! I would love to spend my life in missions and am currently halfway through my nursing degree, so getting hands on experience with serving people through medical help will be such a huge steppingstone for the future.

I am stepping out in faith, but I can’t do this alone! I need to raise $10,000 to cover the cost of training, travel, and ministry expenses.
