I spent a week in Minneapolis after the murder of Renee Good covering the protests at Whipple Federal Building and on the streets... my assignment with Status Coup was over so I had to head back home. Now I'm preparing to head back to tell peoples stories that are fighting against fascist actions by the Border Patrol in Minneapolis. I've developed contacts there and will be traveling with other journalists to keep costs down. I'll be publishing at my newsletter/youtube/patreon for free so that people can see what actually is happening there.

My focus over the last 20 years of journalism has been the rise of fascism through violent hate gangs like the Proud Boys, voter suppression and of course Trump's expansion of powers. All of this has come to head in Minneapolis.

The costs are my rt flight, airbnb/hotel and car rental. This isn't a profit operation, I need to tell this story like I did in Ferguson, during the George Floyd protests and at the Unite the Right rally in 2017.
