I've been selected to present a project my group did for my master's program at an international symposium...in Australia!
I really don't have the money to go. I am hoping some Sweetwater Alumni would donate a little..$5, $10 multiplied by a lot of people would go a long way toward reducing the cost of air fare, hotel and the conference fee. I've never been south of the equator (or further than Hawaii) and am looking forward to seeing the constellations at night down under.
You'd be helping make a dream come true! I am first author on this paper, and it would be a wonderful thing to present at this conference.
The conference is in December, and the sooner I buy the air fare, the less expensive it will be.
