Hi everyone, my name is Mary Gregory (she/her), and I am both thrilled and proud to share that I’ve been selected as one of twelve athletes to represent the USA at the 2025 IPL World Powerlifting Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 30, 2025.

I never thought I'd ever be an athlete or have a sport either. I wasn't an athlete or involved in any sport until powerlifting. I also never thought I'd ever compete at an international sporting event and certainly never thought I'd be asked to represent my country in a sporting event. It still feels a bit surreal.

As I have grown in the sport of powerlifting I did dream of competing at World's but I still never thought I'd actually have an opportunity to do that.

This is a huge opportunity for me to showcase the hard work, dedication, and love I’ve put into powerlifting over the years. However, competing on an international stage comes with significant costs, including travel and accommodations.
