Help send Maggie to the Oscars!

Help my friend Maggie Li, the co-producer of the Oscar-nominated documentary 'Ascension', go to America and attend the Oscars.

 

Ascension has just been nominated in the 94th Oscars in the Documentary (Feature) category.

 

As a freelancer, it is insanely expensive for Maggie to attend this once-in-a-lifetime moment, as there are only a limited number of direct flights between the USA and China at the moment.

 

Prices are 10x higher than usual, meaning the total cost of roundtrip flights and self-paid quarantine adds up to around $8,500, which is a significant financial strain for her.

 

Maggie has a small budget for the trip, but your help is crucial and greatly appreciated for helping her get closer to being there at the Oscars in LA on March 27th, 2022.

 

All the money from the fundraiser will go directly to Maggie and be spent only on the flight ticket and quarantine costs from Shanghai and back.
