From Point Loma to Budapest: Send Lux to Hungary!

Hi! My name is Lux Coker, and I am a junior International Development major at Point Loma Nazarene University. My passion for serving marginalized, impoverished, and underserved communities has driven me to pursue a degree focused on global change. As part of my studies and graduation requirements, I have the incredible opportunity to spend Fall 2025 studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary where I’ll deepen my understanding of global economics, poverty alleviation, and urban development at Corvinus University.

This journey is not only a chance to grow academically but also to expand my mind, connect with a variety of people and cultures, and discover myself in ways only real life experience like this can offer. However, pursuing this opportunity and fulfilling this requirement is a significant financial challenge.
