A dear friend, devoted single mother of two, and advocate in the community has been through it this year. When it rains, it pours, and she has had some stormy weather. Recently, both herself and each of her kids, has experienced health issues and significant back to back illnesses which resulted in each kid missing their nearly week long school trips, full of adventure and novelty. With the nature of her being a single parent, she is not able to provide trips like these to her kiddos so missing these experiences has been extra devastating.

This woman gives so much to her community, providing advocacy, training, resources, safe spaces and more to vulnerable communities. She is selfless in her endeavors to support both youth and adults as well as walking besides families as they navigate new landscapes.

She and her kids deserve some love, some adventure, and with these funds she will be able to take them on a summer trip to fill the void that missing these has left.
