Most of you know me as the annoying bloke at Darts, Work or Home ha, but over the past year or so I’ve made it my mission to help this lad and his family with his darting adventures!
Bendy and Heidi have sacrificed a lot of time and money to help Logan to get to where he is in his short life so far but with how the world is at the moment no matter how much they want to make sure Logan’s dreams are achieved the financials are becoming a little suffocating. Although they will never ever show this or let it get in the way I personally along with many sponsors and local folk have stepped in to help this great young lad follow his darting dreams.
i have set up this go fund me as incredibly Logan has qualified for the World Championships in Gibraltar near the end of this year which I personally believe is an incredible achievement. Obviously with this comes some more expenses and instead of me badgering people I thought I would let people donate whatever they can to help him make the journey across the pond.
below is a little write up of Logan’s Journey so far written by his mum Heidi:
Logan started playing darts 3 years ago at home with his dad and brother. Since he's been playing he's played for cornwall youth for 2 years and was privileged to be under 18s captain in the 2nd year. He plays league darts around cornwall on Monday nights and Friday night's in local leagues, plays in the men's superleage on a Wednesday night as was lucky to be the aggregate winner last year in division 2. He plays in the DB darts league on a Wednesday when superleage is finished and won his division last year also. Logan joined West penwith jdc academy about 18 months ago and has become a steady player within the jdc and is currently 6th in the England academies. He plays in the foundation tours in the jdc in Coventry and shows lots of commitment as we are down in cornwall and lots of travelling is involved. He's very fortunate to have some sponsors who without their help the regular jdc events wouldn't be possible. Last weekend he played in the jdc academies tournament and made it to the last 16, and unluckily lost in the last 16 of the England b team trials. However he has qualified to play in the world championships in Gibraltar this coming november and the other open tournaments out there. Lots of amazing achievements in short darting time for a 14 year old lad from little old Cornwall.
