Send Local Youth to Washington D.C. for Climate Action

Hello! Our names are Victoria Kwei and Arianne Terrones, and we are both alumni of Los Alamos High School in New Mexico and were both former co-presidents of the LAHS eco club! Together in the club, we helped with various projects in Los Alamos to bring awareness to our club and its missions, including thrift drives, mural paintings, presentation giving, and much more! We have continued to be vocal about climate change in college, and to that end we are hoping to attend the Citizens Climate Lobby conference this July in Washington, DC. At this conference, we will help lobby directly to our NM members of Congress. We are reaching out to the Los Alamos Community to help us cover the cost of the travel and conference fees! With your help, this could be an amazing opportunity to make our voices heard and to help advance climate policy to protect our environment for generations to come!
