Hi!

I'm Lizzie, and this year I have been selected to run for GB in the World Mountain Running Championships, held in Spain, Pyrenees.

This is a dream goal of mine and I'm so excited for this once in a lifetime adventure.

Although I have made lots of sacrifices to qualify, training around parenting and full-time work, UK Athletics recently declared that all athletes would need to self-fund their trip.

Our young family are finding our feet, having just moved to Scotland - A new job, a new home, no nearby family support, and a toddler who never stops - this announcement hasn't been ideal for us.
