Hi, I'm Jamie, Chairperson of the Lincolnshire Lancers — an LGBT+ inclusive touch rugby team proudly based at Lincoln Rugby Club. Founded in 2022, our mission is to create a safe, welcoming space for adults (18+) of all genders, sexualities, and backgrounds to come together, get active, and have fun playing touch rugby.

No experience? No problem! All we ask is a positive attitude — we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Beyond the pitch, we’re a vibrant community. We host regular socials, take part in events like Lincoln Pride, and support each other both on and off the field.

In May 2026, our friends at Leeds Hunters are hosting the first-ever IGR Touch Festival — a global celebration of inclusive rugby. Teams from around the world will gather for a weekend of connection, competition, and community.

Day 1: Skill-building workshops led by experienced coaches

Day 2: A full tournament where we’ll proudly represent Lincolnshire

Evenings: Socials to meet new friends and celebrate our shared love of the game

We’re currently fundraising to cover the entry costs for our team to attend this incredible event. This includes registration fees and essential expenses to make sure our players can take part.
