Help Lashawn Experience the 8th Grade Washington DC Educational Trip!

Hi everyone, my name is Tyasia and I’m a proud mom starting this GoFundMe to help my son Lashawn attend an incredible educational opportunity with his class in 2027.

Lashawn has the chance to go on his 8th grade educational trip from March 26 – April 2, 2027. During this trip, students will travel to several historic places including Washington, D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, Philadelphia, and New York City. He’ll get to visit important landmarks, learn more about our nation’s history, and experience things many students only read about in books.

The total cost of the trip is $3,445, which covers airfare, transportation, hotels, meals, and guided educational tours. As his mom, I’m doing everything I can to help make this opportunity possible for him, and I’m reaching out to family, friends, and the community for support.

Lashawn is a hardworking student and I would love for him to have this opportunity to learn, grow, and create memories with his classmates.
