We are beyond proud to share that our daughter, Kira Phan, has been invited to attend the prestigious National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Medicine & Healthcare this summer at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow Kira to explore her passion for medicine, live on a college campus, and start her path toward achieving her dream of becoming an Orthopedic MD Specialist. As a dedicated junior at Branham High School, and a passionate contributor to her school’s sports medicine team, Kira has found her calling in caring for others and understanding how the human body works, especially in the realm of sports injuries and recovery.

We are deeply honored by this recognition of Kira’s hard work and potential — but we need your help to get her to Yale this summer!

The total cost for the program, travel, and accommodations comes with a hefty cost. That’s why we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support. Every dollar brings us closer to giving Kira this life-changing experience!

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and each of you has played a role in helping raise Kira into the amazing young woman she is today. Kira is a junior going into senior year in high school, just to clarify. She is not attending Yale for 4 years. This is a summer invited program for high school students who have been nominated by their school to attend.
