Local artist and NYT Bestselling kid lit illustrator extraordinaire, Kate Cosgrove, has been selected for her art in the recent A Tree is a Community book (author, Daniel Harrison) to exhibit at the prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair (out of more than 4000 illustrators). It is the preeminent event for kid lit illustration in the world. This is a major opportunity to launch Kate's career to a whole new level with international publishers & authors

Unfortunately, travel like this isn't always an option because of large financial barriers, and the event is in April, which isn't a lot of time for an artist to get the money together for an international trip. But this is where we can help! We're raising money to help pay for her plane ticket, accommodation, food, and fair entry.
