Hello, my name is Kai Millette and I am senior journalism student at Kennesaw State University.

I've been covering the Owls athletics since 2022 and pride myself on providing the best coverage I possibly can given my limited resources as a student. From sleeping in vans in strange places to trekking out to California, I have always been willing to do whatever it takes to get the story for the fans back home.

Now I find myself with one final assignment -- covering KSU men's basketball in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament vs one of college basketball's most iconic brands, Gonzaga.

Due to my status as a student and the Sentinel's limited budget, I find myself unable to cover the heavy travel costs of getting across the country to Portland, Oregon to help bring Owl Nation information on their team one final time.

Costs include a plane ticket, hotel room, food and transportation.

With the help of the KSU community, I hope to make this one final trip and continue to tell the story of the Owls.
