Hi!

My name is Josh Smith. I am a junior at Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY, and am a Managing Editor for our student newspaper: The Lafayette Times. While writing for the Lafayette Times, I've covered lots of different sports for our school, such as Football, Soccer, and Basketball. Since I started writing, it is something that I have truly fallen in love with, and I would like to pursue it as a career. Recently I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the School of The New York Times! This is a huge opportunity for me to study journalism and work towards turning it into a career. Unfortunately, travel and tuition expenses are high, even after financial aid, and I won't be able to go if I fail to raise enough money. Anything would help! Thank you!
