Send Jordan and Makayla to Uganda
Donation protected
Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out our GoFundMe page. :)
We have recently been accepted to embark on a mission trip to Uganda with the amazing 147 Million Orphans charity. 147 provides food, water, medicine, and shelter to the people of Uganda, as well as aims to bring awareness to the worldwide orphan crisis, all in the name of Jesus Christ.
While we are there, we will be spending time in Kitetwe Village and at the 147 Reclaim Center, where we will help with feeding programs, building sustainable gardens, vacation Bible activities, community reconstruction and have the opportunity to educate and disciple families about the love of Jesus.
Also, as some of you may know, Makayla is a NICU nurse at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and plans to take her love of caring for children into educating and teaching the people of the Kitetwe Village about proper healthcare.
Jordan is a videographer, and plans to make a short film of their experiences while in Uganda, in hopes to bring awareness to the orphan crisis and the amazing works the 147 Million Orphans organization is doing to eliminate it.
The cost of the trip is rather pricey (as you can see above), but we feel the call of Jesus Christ to do our part in making a difference in this world and helping those in need. Therefore, we are determined to make this trip happen, and with your help we know it's possible.
The total price for both of us to attend is about $8,000, and therefore every penny counts. If you don't have a penny, we'll take prayers, we could definitely use a few of those.
Thank you to everyone in advance, God bless!
