Hello,

In May of this year, my friend and co-worker Jim Maloney was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Jim has been a social worker where I work for 31 years. He is getting close to retirement age, and had discussed retiring soon. He has been on medical leave since May.

Jim is a lifetime Ohio State football fan. His desk has several OSU football images, his cellphone wallpaper is for OSU, and his phone plays the OSU fight song when it rings.

This year, Ohio State opens their season against Texas, arguably the best team in college football (until they play OSU, that is). We are raising money to send Jim and his family to that game. Due to the interest in this game, only resale tickets are available. These resale tickets go for a premium price. We are hoping to buy (4) tickets for Jim to use.
