I've always had a passion for music and really anything creative. When I was in high school I realized I really wanted to pursue worship leading. Over the years my understanding of worship and leading have continually been changing, and it's been really cool - also, very humbling. This brings me to the present. I follow Bethel Church and have had a strong draw to be a part of what God is doing there (Redding, CA). I learned last year that they have a two week intensive program for worship leaders and creatives, and it has been a dream of mine since then. I was nervous to apply - fearing the unknown. But I decided to step out and trust that this is what God is calling me to. So I took the risk and got accepted! I went to Bethel's School of Worship (July 9-20), and your support has been incredible. Prayer is still imperative for this next venture; I'm trusting financial provision will be given as well as those are lead. During my time at Bethel I learned from many of the members of the Bethel Music Collective, along with other well respected spiritual leaders. I'm excited for what's to come, and I hope you will join me on this journey!
God's been opening my eyes to a lot of new things, and I feel strongly that my next step is to pursue Bethel's Supernatural School of Ministry. There I will grow in my understanding of my identity, my calling and giftings, and a multitude of other things I don't even know yet. I believe during this time I will grow in understanding what I am supposed to do next and how to move forward in my part of impacting the world with the real transforming love of Jesus.
