We are so excited to announce that we will be joining the Circuit Riders this January!
The Circuit Riders are a group of young evangelists, creatives and musicians devoted to saving the lost, reviving the saved, and training them all through the power of the Holy Spirit and the work of Jesus Christ. Modelled after the historical horse-mounted circuit riders who God used as catalysts of the methodist revivals, this modern missions movement primarily revolves around the Carry the Love tour, a circuit of America's Universities. At each stop, the Circuit Riders build up the Christians on campus with music, activating messages, and encouragement, and then lead them into stepping into their commissioning as believers. The following day sees campus wide outreach and evangelism, and previously unreached students receive Jesus and step into the freedom of the gospel.
This missionary movement is very needed - in many universities less than one percent of students have any engagement with Christian groups (which would be considered an unreached people group if it were a tribe or nation!). Carry the Love also brings powerful movements of racial reconciliation, women's activism lead by LOVE and not anger, and above all the peace of Christ.
We have been working as a wedding photographers and other occupations for the past summer, and are adding other jobs this fall in order to support the expenses associated with being missionaries. However, we still do need support from you guys in order to reach these students and beyond! The $9,500 dollar goal we have set will pay for our food and travel expenses for our 8 month journey with Circuit Riders.
