SEND JASMINE TO THE OLYMPICS

UPDATE May 14, 2022

Jasmine is ranked #1 in the 119 lb. weight category. In April, she also qualified for 3rd place for the 110 lb. category. Qualifying for 2 categories increases her odds of making it to the Olympics.

I'm increasing the fundraising goal to $6500 (we already have $3500, so it's asking for $3000 more).  This community has been amazing in its support for Jasmine. She's still looking for sponsors, and has had some interest from a local business. Please share her story with any Ann Arbor business people you may know.  Jasmine’s is an Ann Arbor story: she went to Eberwhite, Tappan and Pioneer, and she's got a great following on NextDoor. Original Request, April 2022

My neighbor, Jasmine Hampton, is FIRST PLACE in her Women’s US Olympic Boxing category for the 2024 games. But she has to defend her spot in the qualifying matches on April 23-30 in Cleveland. Jasmine doesn’t have a sponsor to help cover the costs. So please, help get this young woman the funding she needs to get her to the Olympics. Any donation helps. Lots of small gifts add up, so don’t be shy! And feel free to share her story with friends, neighbors and any companies you know who might sponsor her.

 

She’s got this far on her own, paying for all expenses on her own. Let’s step up as a community to get her to the Olympics! She needs immediate funding for registration, hotel, two different uniforms, and travel.  Any extra money will go to long term support for Jasmine’s training. All money goes directly to Jasmine.
