Jakob has been nominated to attend the NYLF Pathways to STEM. This is a six day program held during the summer, that allows elementary school students to discover their personal strengths and to begin to acquire the leadership and life skills needed for academic and career success.
With this program Jakob will get invaluable experience and develop lifelong success skills. Parts of the program include: Hands on Simulations the kids get unique insight on what it is like to work in the exciting fields of engineering, medicine, and CSI. STEM Challenges: utilizing the skills that they develop, students explore cooperative problem solving and team dynamics through engaging activities. Leadership Curriculum: Students are introduced to concepts and skills that lay the groundwork for growth and personal development including five key leadership areas.
