Dream Center Leadership Program

In summer of 2016, I went on a mission trip that changed my life forever.

Hi! My name is Izaiha Rosado. God has placed a dream in my heart that I never even imagined to have and I need your help to make that dream come to life!

How I Got Here
In the begining of 2016, my youth group began planning for a mission trip to New York City. They started to share with us some details and I became very intrested, very fast. I had never been on a mission trip before and this seemed like an amazing opportunity. Fast forward to June and I was off!

I had no idea what to expect. I had always heard that amazing things came out of mission trips, but I had no idea what my experience would be like. The whole trip there I just told God, "do what YOU want to on this trip. Change me and move in me like never before." Before I knew it, we were in Austoria getting checked into where we would be staying for the remainder of the trip. 


We spent our time in NYC, working with the NYC Dream Center. On day one of the mission trip, we did a thing called a "Prayer Tour." Students of the NYC Dream Center Leadership Program lead us to diffrent parts of New York City to talk about big problems and needs in certain areas, and to pray for those specific needs.

We visted Chelsea, Harlem. The Bronx, and the Financial District. It was on that day where I began to feel my heart break of NYC. 

Fast forward to the last day of our trip to NYC and I just knew in my heart that God was calling me to this city. I heard God calling me to be a part of the DCLP (which was not expected at all!) My heart had never broken in the ways it broke for that city. I remember one of the students saying to me "if your heart breaks for something, it usually means God wants you to do something about it." 

Months after we left NYC, I found myself with a broken heart, one incredibly longing to help the people in a hurting city. I began to ask God to show me if NYC was where He was calling me for the next steps of my life.

The more I prayed, the more apparent it became that going to NYC was going to be the next season of my life. After I had applied to the Dream Center Leadership Program (DCLP), I found out that as of Janurary 13th, 2017, I am happy to share I was accepted to the program and I will be moving to NYC in September!

What is the Dream Center Leadership Program (DCLP)?  


The DCLP is a one to two year program where students have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with the Dream Center staff as well as work with Senior Pastors, Brad and Stella Reed, lead community outreach, disciple and help build the local church. The DCLP strives to give hands on, real-world leadership opportunities and experience. Along with practical leadership training, students are also  challenged to dive deeper into God’s word, as they strengthen and develop their relationship with Jesus.
