Hello! My name is Isaiah Hennessy and I am a Junior at Southeastern University. I am double majoring in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries with a minor in Psychology, with the dream of becoming a Pastor!
Please partner alongside me, not just pay, during the process of preparation for this trip. Whether it’s payment or prayer, your support is an investment into my spiritual formation and future ministry, all for the glory of God and to bring more people to know Jesus! Join me on this journey where Scripture comes to life in a vibrant and tangible way!
4 years ago, Jesus saved my life amidst oppression, depression, suicidal ideations, and complete separation from Him. I ran away from God for years not even allowing my pastor parents to speak about Jesus or pray around me. One day I finally couldn’t deal with it on my own anymore and I went to my last resort, I laid it all at Christ feet. I was miraculously healed and set free from all of that bondage and decided in that moment, “God saved me from all of this, I will serve Him for eternity”. That was when I felt called to ministry and decided to become a pastor!
My Professor, Dr. Joe Davis, has been doing trips to Israel for a long time and it is finally safe to go back! He is a mighty wise man of God equipping the next generation with reason and knowledge, always emphasizing scripture as the foundation! Dr. Davis is someone I have immersed myself with and would consider a great mentor in my life. This trip to Israel alongside his teaching and mentoring will be a life changing experience and opportunity! This experience will extend past me and be used to serve God’s people throughout my entire ministry journey as a pastor, father, husband, and brother to all my sisters and brothers in Christ!
