Send Irma to impact the Nations (YWAM-Orlando)

So if you haven’t heard already, I got saved in September and I am just so hungry for God.
Since September, I have rebuilt my life for Christ. So far in my journey, I have turned my full attention on our Lord. I went from a wild adolescent to a woman of God over night, leaving all my earthly desires behind me.
I believe God will give me the desires of my heart ( Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart - Psalm 37:4)
and I have figured out what the Lord has called me to do....be an evangelist (Ephesians 4:11:16 the gifts of the spirit). Not only do I want to bring many lives to Christ but I want to travel the nations in order to do so. I believe with my testimony and everything God has allowed me to go through and experience up until this point in my life, He has prepared me perfectly for missions and evangelism.
I have found the perfect place that will help me to prepare for this destiny and lifestyle and that is Youth With a Mission - Orlando (YWAM). Specifically, their Discipleship Training school (DTS) which is something the Lord has put on my heart for some time now. This Discipleship Training school will help me to push for God like never before. Their motto is to “Ignite, Equip, & Launch”. They have been building up young Christians that are on fire for God for the past half century and are reputable all over the world. This organization all began on a whim of faith by Loren and Darlene Cunningham. They gave a hundred percent to God and it has been flourishing and expanding over the nations ever since.
Ever since I found out about this organization, I have of course gone to visit. My first time there I walked in and was nervous because I have never experienced a “youth group” surrounding. Growing up I have always gone to the “big” church, the adult service, so I have never been able to see young believers like myself, until now. To my amazement, I was able to see that I’m NOT the only one that loves Jesus at such a young age. I was able to see that I’m not alone in this life of many temptations and sin and that there are more people like me, at this age, that have this hunger for God. During worship while visiting the campus, I felt an overwhelming presence of God and tears came to my eyes. He showed me that this is where I needed to go... for the first time in my life I felt like I truly belonged.
This was the moment I knew YWAM was something I needed to do. This was the Lord’s final confirmation for me that I needed to go to this school in order to grow and preach the Gospel as boldly as these young people around me were doing.
The Discipleship Training school is 5 months long. There will be two parts to this school which is the campus phase and outreach.
During the campus phase we will be able to learn more about God like never before. This is used in order to prepare me to be able to boldly preach the gospel to anyone and everyone.
Luke 21:15 “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.”
Class is Monday-Friday so I will be living on campus and have weekends free. I will be able to connect with and surround myself with like minded people, worship the Lord each morning with my fellow class mates, reach out to the local community and much more. I will utilize my weekends to visit my family 45 minutes away and go to my church that has helped me along this road so far in Christ. I want to go to this location, the Orlando location, so I can stay close to my family and be able to keep my commitment on the worship team at my church.
After the campus phase comes the outreach phase. It will be for two months in a country that the Lord has called us to go to at that time. For the spring semester the possibility’s for our mission will be the Caribbean, Thailand/Cambodia and Mongolia. While going there I get to apply everything that I have learned the previous three months. I will be able to use my evangelistic qualities to help change many lives overseas. I will be able to share the gospel with others who may have not even heard of the name Jesus before. The part that I am most excited for is for myself and my team to be able to declare healing in Jesus name and to be able to pray for others. YWAM has a history and many testimonies where they have seen miracles, signs, and wonders from our God all over the world and I can’t wait to be apart of that.
I come to you today to tell you all of this because as much as I would love to just pick up and go, like many things, this costs money. For the campus portion it will be $4,045 which is due by March 26, 2019 and for the outreach portion it will be anywhere between $3,250-$5,250 depending on which location God chooses for me. The outreach portion will be spread out in payments on 4/25/2019; 5/9/2019; 5/30/2019. I trust in God that he will provide for me to be able to do this. "Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26. I hope that these words have stirred the Holy Spirit within you and you would be willing to help me achieve my goal. I would like to share with you my favorite verse.
It is Luke 11:9, “Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you”.
