I am fundraising for my participation as a member of the third cohort of the Women’s Campaign School at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. I am honored to be among the incredible women selected out of thousands of applicants to be a part of this class!

 

With this privilege, I am required to fundraise to participate in this year-long program. While I’m used to asking for donations for worthy causes and nonprofits, I’m NOT used to asking for help for myself. Currently, what my family budget allows is $500.

 

I am asking for your support in reaching my overall goal of $3,000 by April 1, 2022. Your contributions will allow me to continue pursuing my passion in public service and, eventually, elected office. I'm grateful to have worked behind the scenes on several campaigns for many servant leaders. I'm hoping that this program better prepares me to take the next big step!

 

About the LBJ Women's Campaign School

It is a multi-day, hands-on, nonpartisan training for women and those traditionally underrepresented in public life interested in running for office or managing a political campaign. The program involves an opening and closing ceremony, various sessions, family training, a campaign plan competition, mentorship, and homework assignments. In addition, participants can train with the nation's top political experts and campaign practitioners through this training.
