Scotland Transplant Football heads to the Euros
Donation protected
As most of my friends on here already know, I received a kidney transplant in November 2019. Things have been pretty exciting in my life since I recovered from this with a beautiful wife to be who has given me my two amazing boys Sonny and Ollie.
Since transplant, and the birth of Sonny, I always said I would get fitter to protect and prolong my transplant which would in turn be beneficial for raising my son (now son’s). At first this was just by going to the gym, Attending classes and personal training before venturing into strongman and competing within this sport.
However recently I was presented a new opportunity to help found and represent Scotland in Transplant Sport playing football. This is something a group of us have come together to organise as Scotland were the only home nation not to be represented in Italy at the inaugural World Cup 2024.
The next World Cup is in 2026 for transplant sport but we look to Spring 2025 where an opportunity for the team to travel to Oxford, England has come up where we will take part in the European Championships.
I would greatly appreciate if you could donate to this page to help me on my way not only to represent Scotland but to continue my fight against Chronic Kidney Disease for many years to come and through fitness is the best way forward for me. The donations would be used to cover travel, accommodation and matching apparel for the players.
Any donation towards this is greatly appreciated and if you are not in a positive to leave a monitory donation then please share this page as spread the work of our team
Thanks
