My daughter, Hunter, has been awarded an amazing opportunity, through UCA by Varsity Spirit, to participate in the 2025 Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade, in Honolulu, HI this December. If we are able to raise the money, Hunter will be representing Columbia High School while joining other All-American cheerleaders from around the country to perform at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Hunter was not going to participate in cheerleading this year because she wanted to get a job so she could help out financially; however, I reminded her that she's only in high school once, and she has the rest of her life to work and make money.

I'm so proud of Hunter for her dedication to cheerleading! It has driven her to keep her grades up, which ultimately allowed her to apply and get accepted to the Running Start program at our local community college. In the fall, she will be attending high school and community college, simultaneously earning credits toward both.

I wish I could afford to pay for this opportunity, but unfortunately, with a paraeducator salary, I can't. That is why I started this GoFundMe page. Any donation amount is appreciated and will help get us that much closer to Hunter's goal.
