Send Homegirl Magazine to Print (on time)

Donation protected

Homegirl Magazine's goal is to release our first print issue in June featuring the stories, narratives, and expression of Black and Femme creatives in media, fashion, music, and culture. We're tired of talking about how we as creatives survive being "othered" in our respectives fields and wish to switch up the narrative. Let us be great and give you dope content. Das it.

Your support helps with our two greatest expenses:
1) Printing! A publisher's greatest expense is the actual paper. It is important for us to be in print. Arists in print is a very valuable form of currency and difficult to obtain. We also value the experience of reading something tangible. Slow down and savor something good with us.

2) People! A magazine consists of many minds. We value each one and vow to prove it with our dollars. From the folks who help us with social to graphic design, editing, photography, and writing, we need our people and we need them to be paid for their expression.

We used to ask the question: "what would media look like without the erasure of Black women's contribution to popular culture?" Now, instead of wishing things were different, we figured we'd create something different.

Thank you for your support!
