This is a call out for support from anyone who wants to see, for the first time ever, a loud-and-proud transgender lady representing UK bass rave culture at ASIA'S BIGGEST SHOWCASE FESTIVAL!!!

HIYAAA! Queen Chubby here, I am an independent dubstep producer based in Wrexham, North Wales and I AM SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that following on from my performance at Focus Wales 2026, I have been invited to perform in Seoul, South Korea this September! Specific details of the event will be shared by the organisers but for now I can reveal this is a MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY that I am so blessed to have been offered, those who know me know how committed I am to working in the music industry and as integral to building a career as this opportunity is, it is not paid and I am expected to fund the whole trip on my own so I am asking for your support to make this happen.

In contrast to commercial music festivals, showcase events are attended by international audiences of music industry professionals who are looking to work with the artists on the lineup, artists like lil ole meee! Despite the lack of fee, the value of this opportunity is immeasurable and I am working to turn my appearance in Seoul into further career opportunities as an independent artist.

The money I am raising here will cover the cost of flights, accommodation and domestic travel to and from Seoul as well as to keep me fed and comfortable whilst I step out of my comfort zone, on my own, into unfamiliar territory to make my impression on the Seoul based music industry.

Though this is the main base for public fundraising to cover these costs, it would be such an achievement to cover these costs through money I have made through music sales so if you want to contribute and get a few tunes in return, head over to wob40.bandcamp.com and lock in any of the tunes from me, Queen Chubby!
