We are Harmony School of Excellence’s award-winning drone program, and we have officially qualified for the 2026 Aerial Drone Competition South Central Championship in Frisco, Texas.
With over 13 competition awards in the last four years, our students have proven their skill, dedication, and teamwork in piloting, programming, and engineering challenges. This year, our goal is to send four teams to compete at the championship level, representing our school and community on a regional stage.
Why This Matters
This competition is more than an event. It is a powerful, hands-on STEM experience that allows students to:
- Demonstrate advanced skills in drone piloting and autonomous programming
- Explore real-world STEM and engineering career pathways
- Compete, collaborate, and grow alongside top teams from across the region

Meet Our Teams
This year, our program is working to send four teams to the championship:
- Flying Chihuahuas
- Flying Raccoons
- Pixie Pilots
- Rotor Monkeys
Each team brings unique strengths in teamwork, strategy, coding, and flight skills.
We are fundraising to help cover travel, lodging, registration, and equipment costs so all four teams can compete at the highest level.
A donation of $3,000 helps cover major expenses, but any amount makes a difference. Every contribution directly supports students who are building skills for their future in STEM, engineering, and technology.
