Giovanni Tamayo is an 11-year-old boy from Downey, California who has always lived, breathed, and dreamt about soccer. As a young boy growing up in Los Angeles, California, all he ever wanted to do was play the beautiful game. His mother is from Guadalajara, Mexico, and his father is from Los Angeles, so Giovanni inherited a love for soccer from both sides of his family. He was determined to succeed and worked hard to improve his skills, practicing every day and participating in local leagues and tournaments.
Despite the challenges he faced along the way, Giovanni never let go of his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. He is determined to do whatever it takes to achieve his goal, and his hard work paid off when he was selected to play on a traveling team in Brazil and Mexico. These experiences helped him gain valuable experience and sharpen his skills even further.
Unfortunately, Giovanni's dreams were temporarily put to the test when he was kicked off his home team in Los Angeles. He was devastated, but he refused to let this setback defeat him. Instead, he switched clubs and continued to work hard, determined to prove himself.
Giovanni's determination paid off, and has been invited to compete in the M.I.C CUP in Barcelona, Spain in April 2023. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Giovanni to showcase his skills on a global stage and take one step closer to realizing his dream of becoming a professional soccer player.
Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, Giovanni's family is unable to cover the costs associated with the tournament. We have already donated $500 to help cover some of the expenses, but they are still in need of additional support. This is where you come in. By supporting Giovanni and his family, you can help make his dreams a reality and give him the opportunity to pursue his passion for soccer. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated, and together, we can help Giovanni achieve his dreams and inspire others to never give up on their own.
