Send FTC team 8641-The Masters to Worlds

Donation protected
We are team 8641 The Masters from Pleasant Grove Utah. For the first time in our 9-year team history, we have qualified for the World Championship. We are a fully independent team working out of our coach's basement and we have 9 kids aged 14-18 on the team. This group of kids has been competing together for the last 6 years and has finally accomplished their dream of qualifying for the FIRST World Championship that will take place in Houston, Texas, on April 19th-22nd, 2023. We will be one of two teams representing Utah.

FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics competition where kids in 7th- 12th grade build a new robot every year and compete with other teams from across the state. Not only do they build robots to compete, but they also spread awareness of robotics by doing demonstrations in their community and reaching out to the STEM community at large to learn about different fields they can pursue once they graduate.

We need to send 15 people to Houston to compete and any amount of assistance you can provide would be a HUGE help. As an independent team, we receive no support from our schools. All funds raised will go toward paying for travel, housing, and other event-related expenses. Any funds left over will go toward supporting the team next season.
