Help Freddie Get to the World Scout Jamboree 2027!

Hi! My name’s Freddie, and I’m super excited to have been selected to join Unit 23, representing our area at the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet over 40,000 Scouts from around the world, learn about different cultures and traditions, make new friends, and take part in amazing activities that will help me build confidence, independence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Scouting means the world to me — it’s given me so many great experiences, helped me grow more confident, and taught me how to push myself and help others. Being chosen for the jamboree is such an honour, and I’m determined to make the most of it!

However, getting there comes with a big cost — £3,500 — which covers travel, food, kit, insurance, and jamboree fees. My goal is to raise this amount by spring 2027, and I’ll be working hard over the next 18 months through sponsored events, supermarket bag packs, odd jobs, and by selling my paracord creations at stalls across County Durham.

Every penny I raise not only helps me get to Poland but also supports Scouts UK, giving more young people the chance to take part in incredible opportunities like this.
