First off I am a mother of 4, a wife, a daughter and a sister. I have made many steps forward in my career and a few back. Which has made me the chef I am today. I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Pasadena 2007. Getting my associates degree in culinary arts was the start of the passion. Being a female in the kitchen was harder than I imagined. I wasn't strong enough, I had too many children and I asked to many questions. I didn't let the comments get to me . I continued to learn every section of the kitchen. Ive worked under great Chefs. And a few have pushed me to do more than I could ever think was possible. 2017 I received Pastry Chef of the Year for LA chapter American Culinary Federation, Chef de Cuisine Association of California Los Angeles. 2019 I did my first competition it was horrible. A few weeks later I received my certification for working Pastry Chef (a 4 hour baking test). The end of 2019 I qualified to compete nationally for Pastry Chef of the Year 2020. (What an honor!?!) Due to Covid it was pushed back to August 2021. Im looking for support I will have to fund supplies, sending equipment, ingredients across the nation. Its definitely a big opportunity and an honor to be among great Chefs and culinary professionals. Thank you so much for supporting and showing me love!
