Hi, my name is Finley and I am fundraising so that I can go to Poland on the World Scout Jamboree in 2027, I was chosen to go and represent Lincolnshire alongside a group of 36 other individuals. Over the year I will be partaking in several training camps to get us ready for the Jamboree. These camps will include cooking for ourselves, team-bonding activities and opportunities to become friends with everyone else. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and this would benefit both me and the whole Scout community because we are all learning about different cultures and societal norms from all around the world. The event, themed “Bravely,” will focus on international friendship, diversity, and youth leadership. There will be over 170 countries sending a total of approximately 40,000 representatives.
