Help Send FGCU Hockey to Conference & Nationals
This season, the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles D3 Club Hockey team has earned the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage in college club hockey. After months of hard work and countless hours of preparation, we have put ourselves in a position to compete for a conference championship and strive for a shot at a national championship
For our program, this is what the entire year is about.
But getting to these tournaments takes more than effort on the ice – it takes significant financial support. As a student-run club team, we do not receive the same funding as varsity athletic programs. Every season, players personally cover the majority of team expenses. Nationals and conference playoffs bring costs far beyond what our normal budget can handle.
That’s Why We Need Your Help.
Traveling to compete at this level requires:
Flights for 23 players and coaches
Hotel accommodations
Rental cars and transportation
Team meals during multi-day tournaments
Tournament and facility fees
Equipment and logistics costs
These expenses add up quickly. In order to represent Florida Gulf Coast University at the highest level, we need to raise approximately $20,000 to make this trip possible.
What This Means to Us
For many of our players, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Competing at Nationals is the dream every college hockey player works toward. We take pride in representing Florida Gulf Coast University, our families, our fans, and our community every time we step on the ice.
Your support will directly help us:
Cover essential travel costs
Compete against the top teams in the country
Continue building FGCU Hockey’s legacy
Give our seniors the chance to finish their careers on the national stage
Every donation—no matter the size—brings us one step closer to achieving our goal.
