Falco Tech’s mission is to enrich children of all ages through FIRST, emphasizing volunteering and outreach, while teaching our community, and beyond, about the values of FIRST and STEM.
Falco Tech goes beyond robots. For the past 10 years, our students have learned about the importance of volunteering, the basics of communication, and the foundations of leadership. While our robot is extremely important to us, our bond as a team and throughout the entire Austintown program is equally valued.
Falco Tech is a family that leaves no student behind. We foster an environment where ideas are taken and made into a reality, while also taking team bonding very seriously. Some team-bonding events double as outreach, such as hockey games and eating together nightly during build season. To foster an even greater family atmosphere while honoring our seniors, we will have a collegiate signing day on May 1st to honor their prosperous futures.
Volunteering, an integral pillar of our team since the very beginning, is our team’s best way to stay connected with our community. Members of our team learn the amazing benefits of volunteering, such as teaching a young child to drive a robot or shooting t-shirts at a school-day hockey game. Each unique experience allows us to bond with members of our community, while spreading the values of FIRST to people who would never experience it otherwise.
The Austintown-Fitch High School Robotics Team Falco Tech FRC 3193 have Won the Engineering Inspiration Award at the Finger Lakes Regional in Rochester New York.
Engineering Inspiration Award Celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school or organization and community.
The FIRST World Championship in Detroit Michigan is on April 24-27, to compete against 600 teams from around the world..
