Send Eugene Kids to a Duck basketball game

Donation protected
Help me send young Oregon Duck fans to not one but two basketball games this winter!

I am excited to announce that I will continue my fundraising campaign from last season and am hoping you will join me. Last year we raised $4,000 and purchased 482 tickets to an Oregon men's basketball game for kids in and around the Eugene area.

Last year we sent youth from various schools in the Eugene and Springfield school districts, youth basketball teams, after-school youth programs, and other groups that help underprivileged youth in the area.

Goals are meant to be broken. So this year, I'll be trying to raise $5,000 to purchase tickets that will allow a young Duck fan to go to either a men's or women's basketball game.

This year the Oregon men's and women's basketball programs are playing a home game on the same day in December. On Saturday, December 21st, the men will be playing Texas Southern and the women will be playing Kansas State at Matthew Knight Arena. I am raising money to purchase tickets that will get a child and an adult into one of the two games.

Our fundraiser will wrap up December 9th and I will then begin to distribute tickets.

The women are the No. 1 ranked team in ESPN's way-too-early Top 25 for women's college basketball and feature some of the best players to ever play for the basketball program. This will be a chance for a young girl (or boy) in the Eugene area who hasn't had a chance to see the Wooden Award Winner (most outstanding player in women's basketball) and senior Sabrina Ionescu play. Or how about a young girl or boy who is a fan of dominating play the paint and they haven't been able to watch senior forward and honorable mention All-American Ruthy Hebard live in person? We can send a deserving young Oregon Duck fan to see one of the most talented Oregon women's basketball teams in program history for free of charge!

The Oregon men's basketball program is coming off a Sweet 16 season last year and returns four-year starting point guard Payton Pritchard. Along with returners in sophomore Will Richardson and Francis Okoro, the Ducks are bringing in another Top 5 recruiting class that will position the Ducks as a Pac-12 favorite and a team who could once again make a deep run through March Madness. We can send a deserving Oregon Duck fan to see this men's basketball team in December and create a lasting memory as the Ducks go on to compete for a conference and national title later on in the year.

Help me raise funds to send youth to an Oregon men's or women's basketball game by donating or sharing this fundraiser.
