Send Emory Mock Trial To Nationals

Dear Friends, Family, and Alumni,

UPDATE: Due to all of your support and some unexpected additional funding from Emory University, we were able to lower our goal slightly. We are so grateful and astounded by the amount of support we have received and cannot thank you all enough for helping us get to nationals!

We are reaching out because Emory University Mock Trial has won TWO bids to the American Mock Trial Association’s National Championship in Philadelphia, from April 4th to April 7th. This is the first time in Emory Mock Trial’s History that two teams will be going to the National Championship. We are so excited to compete and represent Emory well!


This has been a record setting year for Emory Mock Trial. We are currently ranked 18th in the country out of 700+ teams. We have gone to Nationals the past two years and received awards both times. This year, we were undefeated tournament champions for the first time, and won second place at both of our regional tournaments! It has been an outstanding year!


As a result of two teams going, we need your help getting to the Championship. We have to pay for flights, hotels, registration for the tournament (for two teams), case materials, demonstratives, transportation and more! We are asking for you to give any amount of money to send us to the National Championship. ANY support you can give would be so appreciative and go towards sending us to the highest level of competition in mock trial. 


Our time on Emory Mock Trial has been fantastic and we have loved learning more about the law and pursuing our future goals. Any support you can give will help us get to Nationals! Thank you!
