Hello, my name is Jeremy Kaszycki and I am helping my little sister, Elizabeth (Ellie) Kaszycki, with raising tuition for her to attend a prestigious music program known as The Honors Performance Series (HPS). This event is a week-long music education program that is only offered to the most talented high school performers from around the world. It is an opportunity to learn under world-renowned music conductors, network with exceptional existing and upcoming talent from around the world, experience one of the world's greatest stages in Carnegie Hall, and help challenge each attendee to perform at their very best to fully realize the power of their music potential.
Ellie, who is a senior in high school, was invited to apply and recently was accepted into the program playing the part of Violin, and her accepted Ensemble she will participate in will be the Honors Film Music Orchestra. She first started her music journey at 3 years old with music prelude classes, started playing the violin at 5, and also started Piano at 10. Her journey has been one of inspiration, motivation, dedication, and love for the art of Violin, and is truly a testament to how God works to show his beauty on earth through the gift of music.
We are humbly asking for help in raising funds to pay for her tuition to attend this once-and-a-lifetime learning event. The complete program cost for each selected performer is $2,575, however we have anticipated that in addition to round-trip airfare, city transportation, and food, the total cost of the whole opportunity would be $4,000. Ellie has been active in fundraising by playing at local events and has raised $175 so far, $600 in un-recorded gofundme donations, as well as she was awarded a $375 scholarship towards the tuition, leaving $2,950 left which is what we are asking for today. Although our family is doing the best we can to cover costs, we are worried that without the help of GoFundMe, we would not be able to afford to send Ellie which would cause her to miss out on one of the biggest opportunities for growth she has had in her entire life.
The Honors Performance Series will be held from February 7-11, 2024, so we are hoping to fundraise up until that date as needed. The attached thumbnail video (as well as the link below) is the video that Ellie submitted as part of her application to HPS. Also, we are attaching a link for more information about HPS below.
Ellie will always have music as a part of her life, and one of her biggest passions for pursuing her art of Violin is she sees the life that her music breathes into people and wants to always spread that feeling and joy in the hopes to change the world for the better. Please consider donating to this wonderful cause to help one of our future's brightest upcoming talents in music achieve her dreams and help give her the opportunity to become her best self! From the bottom of our family's hearts, we appreciate any bit of help, and maybe one day, her music will find its way into your life to make the days brighter.
Sincerely,
Jeremy, Ellie, and the Kaszycki Family
