Send Ellie to Japan
Donation protected
I was 1 of 10 girls accepted from a very competitive application process to go with my school (Mount Notre Dame) to Japan for 2 weeks in February. This trip is brand new this year and I was excited from the moment I heard about it.
— As a leader of the Japanese Culture Club, I am dedicated to learn from this trip and bring back knowledge to my peers. I love learning about other cultures, especially those we aren’t as acquainted with. I know that by going on this trip, I will learn so much and be able to apply my experience to my life currently, and in the future.
— One of the main reasons why I’m reaching out to everyone reading this is because the trip is obviously not cheap. There are no aids from the school or ways that I can raise money.
— While all donations are welcome, for each donation of $30 or more, will do 1+ hours of work for a nonprofit in the Greater Cincinnati Area; therefore, the money you donate indirectly goes to a great cause. I am very experienced in service and am very well educated on nonprofits so I will ensure that whatever organizations I choose to work with will be worthwhile and benefit Cincinnati and even other areas.
— I will be posting updates and videos/pictures of the work I’ll be doing and throughout my time in Japan.
— *UNPLANNED BONUS*
During my time in Japan, I will have the amazing opportunity to celebrate my 16th birthday alongside my soon to be Japanese sisters and my MND sisters. So, by donating to fund an enriching trip for me, you’d also be helping me to celebrate my 16th birthday in a very unique way.
