Send Eastside Speech & Debate to National Success!

Eastside Speech & Debate is a high school competitive public speaking club located at Eastside High School in Taylors, SC. Our goal is to develop confident, articulate, and thoughtful speakers with the skills to think critically, communicate effectively, and impact change. The team competes at 12+ inter-school tournaments each year and relies heavily on donations from parents, friends, and members of the community to do so!

In the 2024-2025 season, our team won 4th place overall in the state, took home 2 individual state championships, and was honored to have 7 students qualify to compete at this year's national tournament!

The 2025 National Speech & Debate Association Tournament is being held in Des Moines, Iowa, from June 15-21. The tournament hosts brilliantly talented students from not just across the nation, but across the globe.

Donations made will go towards the cost of registration, hotels, and flights for our Eastside students who have shown great dedication and diligence to qualify for this once-in-a-lifetime competition.
