Dear friends and family,
I am writing to you today to let you know of the sudden loss of my father Edward A. Ridgill, MD.
My father was an amazing man. He had a brilliant mind, an outspoken personality, and a kind heart. He was larger than life!
He raised my siblings and I with love, joy and will a constant pursuit of knowledge and education. It's also my understanding that many of his friends have been blessed to have had him in their lives too. My father left an indelible print on everyone life that he came across in this world. One of his famous sayings was, "You create your own reality,” and just like Frank Sinatra, he lived his life, his way.
Unfortunately, recently my father suddenly passed away. He leaves behind 5 children: Louis, Valerie, Lorenzo, Johnny and Eddie and 8 grandchildren.
Edward’s obituary can be found here. The funeral service will be held at Rose Hills at the end of this month.
We are absolutely devastated by my father’s passing and are trying to find a way to cover the cost of the service.
I’ve started a fundraiser to collect donations for dad’s funeral service.

It's never ever easy to have to say goodbye but what gives us peace is that now my father is reunited with his wife and our mother, Gloria.
