Last month, October 2020, my Stepdad and my Mom got news that caught all of us off guard. David was diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer.) We are still processing this as a family, but I have found out this much.... David wishes to travel to San Diego, California. This is a man who has stepped forward and helped me when I’ve had absolutely nothing. He’s become such a wonderful father figure for me and I want to make sure he gets where he wants to go. My parents have put so much love into our community, and they inspire me to want to be better and do better. My hope is that we, as a community can wrap them in the same love.
