In the fall of 2017 I was part of a group of parishioners at St Matthew's Lutheran Church, searching for a new Director of Youth and Family Ministries. We met Daniel Crofts at an introductory meeting late one fall afternoon. Little did any of us know we found someone who's impact will last long after his time at St Matthew's comes to a close. Daniel's gift for working with youth and his passion for the outdoors was the perfect combination to revitalize a children's ministry that was almost nonexistent. Over the next seven years, Daniel has been blessing to any kid lucky enough to cross his path. It's not always been easy, it's not always perfect but it has been an amazing ride - not just for the kids but for the many adults he interacted with along the way. As a BIG Thank You to Daniel, we want to send Daniel to Tanzania along with the other Sojourners from St Matthew's. We are asking for your help to fund this trip. Any gift, big or small will make a difference. His experience as part of this group will be a gift that will not only benefit Daniel, but those he will minister to in the future.
