Send Damien to Namibia for Team Canada

Hi, my name is Amanda. My son, Damien, is 15 years old and is on the Millstone Archery team in Spruce Grove. He's been participating in the NASP archery tournaments for several years. Last year, he ranked 1st in almost all of the tournaments he participated in, out-scoring even more senior archers. He participated and came in 1st for the grade 9 boys division in the provincial AND national tournaments. He's been invited to be part of Team Canada and compete in Namibia in July.

As you can imagine, this is both exciting and challenging given the costs to fly to Namibia and stay for over a week. While we have some funding saved, we also have to take into consideration that I have a fairly costly surgery to my jaw (not covered through Alberta health care, unfortunately) that I also need to pay for but am putting off for the time being. I've also put my own schooling on hold to ensure we can make this happen.

This is such a big opportunity for Damien! He's worked so hard to get here and we are do everything we can so he can participate!
