My name is Dakota Callahan and I am raising money for a trip to Costa Rica in July. I am traveling with The Experiment in International Living. My sister traveled to Tanzania with this organization in 2017. The trip is three weeks with a focus on biodiversity, climate, & the environment. I will stay with a host family and participate in a service project.

I chose Costa Rica for the program offered. The environmental aspect appeals to me. I learned a lot on an East Coast Studies trip with my Marine Biology class two years ago. I hope to expand on some of that with this program.

I am excited about this trip because it's full of unique opportunities that I might not get the chance to have again. My sister had so many cool experiences in Tanzania! I am looking forward to seeing a 'new to me' place with a different environment and learning about their culture. It will be a fun adventure and a once in a lifetime learning experience.
