Send Daisey to London!

Hi, my name is Holly Baker and I am fundraising to help send Daisey Loyd to London! Daisey has been playing the violin since she was seven years old. Last month she auditioned and was accepted into the Honors Orchestra to play in the Honors Performance Series in the Royal Festival Hall on July 28th, 2024 in London, England. This is going to be a big trip for her and as we all know, with big trips come big price tags. Daisey has said she plans to get a job to help pay for the expenses. However, her plate is already pretty full. She is a high school senior with a 3.8 GPA and has been taking dual credit classes for the past four years. She will be taking a semester of college January 2024-May 2024, graduating high school with honors May 2024, going to London in July and moving to start college full time in August 2024. All of this while having her weekly violin lessons and practicing the pieces for London. She is busy! Daisey practices relentlessly and is very hard on herself. It is an honor to be chosen to play in the Honors Orchestra with the Honors Performance Series and shows that all her hard work pays off. This trip is such a great educational opportunity for Daisey and will be a great asset to her violin career. It will be the adventure of a lifetime! I am reaching out with this Go Fund Me to help ease the financial burden of the trip so Daisey can focus on her grades, practicing violin and her future.
