Hello! We are DaCadence, UMD's Elite All-Gendered, a cappella group. We recently competed in the International Collegiate Competition of A Cappella (ICCA) Mid-Atlantic Semi-Final at The Playhouse Theater in Wilmington, DE. We won FIRST place and outstanding VP, making us the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Champions. This placement has allowed us to proceed in the competition to the Finals in New York City, where we will represent the University of Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic Region. We are thrilled about this experience. DaCadence has never been to finals, so this is one for DaHistoryBooks!

This GoFundMe will assist in paying for housing, transportation, and food. We are self-funded, so anything helps. Our goal is $9,000, which will help us show off our set to the world and make lasting memories on a New York Stage.
